Administration and Actuarial Consulting Of Pension Plans Internship - Summer 2026

Job Summary
We are offering an internship which allows the selected student to explore various types of tasks relating to the administration and actuarial consulting of pension plans.
Therefore, we are looking for an actuarial intern based at our Montreal, Quebec, or Ottawa office for the 2026 summer session who will work under the supervision of various pension plan consultants.
More specifically, the tasks will include, as needed:
- Data processing for various mandates;
- Performing various tasks related to pension plan administration, including producing individual member statements at the time of a life event as well as producing annual statements;
- Participating in computer programming projects related to the actuarial valuation and pension plan administration systems;
- Participating in various consulting mandates including pension plan actuarial valuations and costings for plan amendments;
- Participating in the preparation of presentations for pension plan committees and/or for plan members’ annual meetings;
- Working collaboratively within a team and independently.
Academic and Professional Requirements
The position requires two years of university studies in mathematics or actuarial science.
The following criteria are considered assets:
- Familiarity with programming languages C#, and VB.Net;
- Analytical attributes;
- Detail-oriented and respectful personality;
- Appreciation for quality of work;
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written;
- Proficiency in English.
